The release of "RibCage" on the Dice-Buttrich-Imprint Desolat was point, set and match for Ali Shirazinia, just like his remix of "Grundhouse" by Radioslave. Hyped like a newcomer even though he has a considerable number of years under his belt, Dubfire is one half of the US-Iranian duo Deep Dish. In this formation, he covered everything from classic Deep House to Progressive House, earned himself a Grammy and could have gone on like this forever, had he not felt the need for innovation. At first, there was suspiciousness, then there was amazement; meanwhile, Dubfire has been accepted into the DJ Champions League alongside Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin.
