Festival Opening with Jetzt-Projection in Urban Space

On Saturday, 20th March 2010, the Jetztmusikfesival opens with several exceptional projects. One of them is the striking video projection onto the facade of the Kunsthalle Mannheim, merging information and art. The main facade of the Kunsthalle will be used to display the diverse possibilities of video art using visually virtousic large-scale projections. With this light-project, the Kunsthalle, which will be closed until the 26th March, will be contributing to the "Lange Nact der Museen". The project was designed and realised in cooperation with the B-Seite Festival and the Jetztmusikfestival. The two festivals, which are cooperating for the first time this year, will be presenting this creative contribution which mirrors the festival programme: lighting up the city, referring to a week packed full of exceptional art und cultural events.
