Maarten Mittendorff

Born in Hengelo, a small town in the eastern part of Holland, Maarten Mittendorff's love for Dj-ing started at an early age. Dwelling first thru pop music and electronic music in general, he eventually found techno in the late 90’s. When he moved to Amsterdam, his interest in detroit techno started to develop influenced by the sounds of Amsterdam based labels like Delsin and Rushhour.

Inspired by this "machine soul hi tech techno" one can clearly recognize his energetic mixing style in his Dj sets. Also already known for his distinctive synth filled productions, he's releasing tracks on labels like Toronto's based Restructured and on his own "Indigo Aera" imprint. This Detroit oriented Techno label, which he founded together with Jasper Wolff, gained a lot of (international) attention from it's start in 2010. Since we can't look into the future, we won't make any predictions, but when looking at the past and present, we can only expect a bright, bright future!
